Electromagnetic surveys have a wide range of applications including: munitions response (MR) mapping, archeological surveys, and metallic/industrial waste locating. The TM-5emu manufactured by GAP Geophysics Australia Pty Limited (GAP), is based upon Minelab technology which makes it the perfect tool for "hot rock" areas, as it greatly reduces false alarm rates in MR applications. The TM-5emu can be utilized in either a single or dual system arrangement which allows for versatility in all types of terrain.

The system is capable of precisely locating small targets to large targets with the integration of industry standard RTK DGPS systems. The operating system provides the user with real time data and positional quality indicators. The system has been used successfully on many projects including US Navy work in the "hot rock" environments of Hawaii. ARM has a strategic alliance with GAP and is the sole provider of GAP technologies in the US.
